A little bit more on Japan...

Bamboo Grove in Kitasaga, Kyoto.

  1. WOW, snazzy photos. :) I think they beg for a little text, though - I'd love to know how you arrived in this grove, what precipitated these shots, what you were feeling - they seem to have something to say!

  2. Thanks a lot for the comment. Sorry I haven't seen it before! This bamboo forest is quite a tourist place, but the day I went there it was raining so I was almost alone! Thus, I had he chance to contemplate the forest with the advantages of a thin light so that the colors were brillant. That was a wonderful place in a quiet town which is known by many Japanese film makers (I saw this forest in some movies. If you have the chance to go there when the weather is windy, you will hear the bamboo trees knocking one against the other which produce a mysterious (new for me) sound.
I recommend you to go there :)
